The “wood city” is one of the most beautiful living environments ever created in Sweden. Only a few of these are preserved and Hjo is one of these. Hjo offers a peaceful, warm and lovely atmosphere near the lake Vättern.
Off the square and the streets near by you will find cosy shops and cafes. You don’t want to miss the city park or the harbour where you can buy newly caught smoked fish.
